As June Draws to a Close, We Look Forward to Celebrating HM Armed Forces – Past, Present, and Future, for Armed Forces Day
As June draws to a close, we are proud to highlight our upcoming celebrations dedicated to honouring HM Armed Forces—past, present, and future—during Armed Forces Day. Our unwavering connection to the military is a source of pride; many members of our team are ex-serving personnel, from both regular and reserve forces, or have extensive experience working within military communities.
Kicking off our celebrations across the Irish Sea, the Northern Ireland national event will take place on 21st June 2025 at Newtonards Airfield. Attendees will be treated to an an always atinicipated and captivating display featuring the Red Arrows and the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, thrilling skies above Newtonards. The event will also include a range of ground activities, displays, and demonstrations aimed at engaging and inspiring visitors of all ages.

The excitement continues the following weekend with our support for three major events, including the recently announced National Armed Forces Day in Cleethorpes on 28th & 29th June.

On Saturday, 28th June, our team will be in Scarborough, another historic location that has hosted national celebrations before. Visitors can enjoy an extensive programme of entertainment along the promenade—live music, vintage vehicles, cadet displays, parades, and interactive exhibits. The skies above South Bay will be filled with exhilarating aircraft displays, beginning with at 12pm with:
- The RAF Typhoon FGR4, piloted by Sqn Ldr Nathan Shawyer, delivering a powerful flight across the skies.
- A graceful aerobatic display by the classic Tiger Moth.
- The increadible Jet Pitts , flown by Rich Goodwin, showcasing an amazing project and flying skills.
- A spectacular formation aerobatic and unlimited aerobatic display by The Starlings.
- And a heartfelt tribute to the 1940s and 80 years since VE Day with the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF), featuring historic fighters.
On Sunday, 29th June, our support extends to the Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day, where the island will welcome the iconic Red Arrows for their flight over the historic waters of the Solent, based around Ryde. Joining the Reds will be the RAF BBMF Fighter Pair and the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team. In addition, the Royal Navy Raiders Parachute Display Team will also be flying — a lesser-seen, but equally skillful team showcasing the versatility and commitment of our naval personnel.
These events exemplify our enduring gratitude and respect for the sacrifices of military personnel, and our ongoing commitment to supporting their communities and legacy. We look forward to welcoming communities across the UK to these remarkable opportunities to honour those who serve.
