Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre – Large Model Airshow 2018

If your looking for something to do on the first May Bank Holiday, why not take a trip to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby? Home of Just Jane, the UK’s only taxyable Lancaster in civilian hands, the centre is a living museum, with great exhibits, friendly atmosphere and great demonstrations.

The museum will host the first of its air events on Saturday 5th and Monday 7th May (closed Sunday), with the Large Model Airshow, featuring a number of large scale, detailed aircraft models, Lancaster taxy runs and on the Monday a flypast by BBMF Hurricane and a Spitfire Display.

If you have an interest in aircraft and models, you can feed your hobby with various displays, trade stands and demonstrations throughout the event.  Its also your chance to be part of the Lancaster crew! You can win a place on Just Jane by entering the Raffle for just £2 or take a trip on board a vintage Queen Mary vehicle for a tour of the WW2 airfield, which formed a part of Lincolnshires WW2 history.
